Located in the town of Island Park, NY, Milch Photography has been serving the photography needs of New York and the tri-state area for the past 20 years.
Our Island Park location is a full service studio, with a satellite office in Woodbury. We can accommodate large & small family groups, pet portraits, head shots, passports, custom framing, restorations & many other imagery related services.
Milch Photography was founded originally to photograph primarily Weddings, Bar/Bat mitzvahs, Communions, Sweet 16's & other social events. We have expanded our services over the last 20 years to include Environmental Portraits(beach, park etc...), Executive Portraits, Corporate Events, School/Camp Portraits, Portfolios & Head Shots We are also well known for specializing in events(Bar/Bat Mitzvahs,Communions etc...) for special needs children.

Although Mark prides himself with an expertise in Bar Mitzvah and Wedding portraits, his spontaneous candid photographs capture the true essence of emotion.

As a photographer, Mark's delighted in photographing special children, many with disabilities that would be challenging to the average photographer, but Mark has developed an understanding beyond the scope of documentation.
His photos depict personality and originality, yet they always reveal the true personality of his subject.
By developing a love for people, while mixed with unending patience, Mark is truly in a class of his own.
Photographing social events has been a 20 year journey of love for Mark & even through his busy schedule, Mark has found the time to join and maintain a professional status in the photographic industry.
As a member of PPA one has the opportunity to study with the very best photographers in the country. He is currently serving as an officer with PPGNY, a New York based affiliate of a professional organization of photographers currently known as the most competitive and best in the country. In addition, he is a member of PPSNYS, the New York State organization. These organizations offer the best education in terms of betterment of skill and professionalism.
In addition, Mark has obtained his degree of Certified Photographer from The Professional Photographer's of America. Certification requires the professional photographer to submit a portfolio of his work, from a single event, to a panel of distinguished judges. Additional requirements, are personal and credit references, as well as to achieve a high score on an extensive written exam.
Mark has won many awards and ribbons for his work. He is a recipient of the prestigious Alvin L. Friedman Award, as well as best in shows for his prints.
