Located in the town of Island Park, NY, Milch Photography has been serving the photography needs of New York and the tri-state area for the past 25 years.
Our Island Park location is a full service studio. We can accommodate large & small family groups, pet portraits, head shots, passports, custom framing, restorations & many other imagery related services.
Milch Photography was founded to photograph Weddings, Bar/Bat mitzvahs, Communions, Sweet 16's & other social events. We have expanded our services over the last 25 years to include Environmental Portraits(beach, park etc...), Executive Portraits, Corporate Events, School/Camp Portraits, Portfolios & Head Shots We are also well known for specializing in events(Bar/Bat Mitzvahs,Communions etc...) for special needs children.
We have been retained to cover events as far away as Israel and as close as around the corner! We are fully insured, and can work in any hall or location.
Mark Milch
Mark is a true artist that takes pride in his craft, yet his gentleness treats people with kindness and respect; a rare combination!
As a photographer, Mark's delighted in photographing special children, many with disabilities that would be challenging to the average photographer, but Mark has developed an understanding beyond the scope of documentation.
His photos depict personality and originality, yet they always reveal the true personality of his subject.
By developing a love for people, while mixed with unending patience, Mark is truly in a class of his own.
Photographing social events has been a 20 year journey of love for Mark & even through his busy schedule, Mark has found the time to join and maintain a professional status in the photographic industry.
As a member of PPA one has the opportunity to study with the very best photographers in the country. In addition, Mark has obtained his degree of Certified Photographer from The Professional Photographer's of America. Certification requires the professional photographer to submit a portfolio of his work, from a single event, to a panel of distinguished judges. Additional requirements, are personal and credit references, as well as to achieve a high score on an extensive written exam.
Mark has won many awards and ribbons for his work. He is a recipient of the prestigious Alvin L. Friedman Award, as well as best in shows for his prints.
In examining the work of a photographer you must examine their virtues. Your special event is seen through the eyes of a sensitive yet experienced professional.

Portraits
Capturing you is important and this is what we do best. From single head shots to creative family groups, from in studio to at the beach, we capture the moment for you. Most of our portrait sessions last around an hour and can be either in our studio or at your location.
Communion & Christening sessions are available and we can also do your dating site photo!
Photos of all sizes available as well as digital negatives.Weddings
Your special day is as important to you as it is to us. Full day services are available and all of our packages are customizable. Flush album packages are included with your special day.
We are known for being thorough yet unobtrusive.
Making sure you never forget your special day is Milch Photography's pledge to you. Custom Artwork is done on all album and individually selected prints. Photographic Proofs & Digital Negatives are also available.Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceañera
A unique package for this right of passage. Our package includes a second day if necessary, a pre-shoot which can be shot during the week on a separate day. This includes Temple formals, portraits, and home casuals; photographed by a professional Photographer with an assistant.
